The life of disbelievers

14- The life of disbelievers

Question: What does man miss if he doesn’t believe in God and worship Him?
If man doesn’t believe in God or seek His support, then this life is his greatest hope and nothing beyond so he only seeks his desires by all means, he gets happy if this life comes to him and he gets sad and sorry if he misses his desires or his hopes. If he wishes to get something and he misses it, he might get despaired or hopeless or get a shock or a crisis or get physical illness, if he hasn’t got the least amount of belief he might commit suicides or do anything of disbelief and ingratitude.
Then he misses satisfaction and gets away from contentment with God, he doesn’t feel the taste of happiness because he thinks happiness means to get his desires in this life, and as nothing in this life is permanent, so one day he will surely miss the feeling of being happy.
The biggest evil of a disbeliever is that he is selfish and egocentric; he cuts and breaks social relationships and ties of kinship with relatives and lives alone. He only knows those who are useful to him or utilize him, as a result we see human principles melt and vanish like being dutiful, loyalty, magnanimity, and others. The U.A.E Manar Al-Islam magazine mentioned this strange story, during a celebration at the Islamic centre in Paris, suddenly a French woman came in with her son, she told them that she wanted her son to be a Muslim and asked them to teach him the orders of Islam, they asked her if she was a Muslim, she said: ”No.” They asked her why she wanted her son to be a Muslim; she told them that she wanted him to deal with her beneficently when she is old as the Moroccan Muslims do to their parents not as the French do.

The need to belief and religion

13- The need to belief and religion

Question: In rich countries where the income average is high and there are all means of good life, entertainment and luxury, man doesn’t feel he needs religion or believing in God, what can urge man to look for God or be religious at those countries?
Question: What does man need in the west in addition to scientific progress that gives him all his needs?
In rich countries where people find all the needs of tangible life, man feels psychological troubles, impatience, there are many psychological diseases and there are many suicide accidents. Statistics show that the richest countries are the Scandinavian countries, Sweden, Norway and Denmark, they have the most suicide average in the world, and this is because man is dual configuration. Everything in those countries is just to satisfy the needs of the body but there is nothing to satisfy the heart, the feelings or the soul. This only comes by religion and believing in God, believing in God gives confidence to the soul, tranquility to the heart, expands the breast, belief makes the spirit gets higher and inspire the body to be satisfied with God and feel His support, His guidance and His care, this is the equilibrium or the evenness to man, God says about this in the Koran:
“Whoever works righteousness, man or woman, and has Faith, verily, to him will We give a new Life, a life that is good and pure and We will bestow on such their reward according to the best of their actions”
Surat An’nahl, Verse 97

Compassion to animals

Are there any orders in Islam urges to be compassionate to animals?
The orders of Islam urge to be merciful and compassionate to humans, animals and all creatures, for example:
1- The prophet (Blessings and peace of Allah be upon him) prohibited sitting on animals as people talking to each other, he ordered them to get off the animals and talk then ride again and go, he said: (Don’t make your animals’ backs as chairs.)
2- He (Blessings and peace of Allah be upon him) forbade locking any animal and getting it to starve, he told that if anyone did this, he will go to hell, he (Blessings and peace of Allah be upon him) said: (A woman was tortured because she imprisoned a cat to death so she gone to hell, she never gave it food or water when she imprisoned it, nor she let it eat from the grass on land.)
3- He (Blessings and peace of Allah be upon him) told that the favor of being beneficent to any animal is to go to paradise, he (Blessings and peace of Allah be upon him) said: (As a dog was circling a well dying of thirst, a whore saw it, she took off her shoe and got him water to drink, she was forgiven for this.)
4- The prophet (Blessings and peace of Allah be upon him) prohibited to set fire in the place of ants and said to his companions: (Don’t torture by fire, only God tortures by it.)
5- He prohibited inciting animals i.e. encouraging them to fight, like bullfighting that we see nowadays, it was narrated after Ibn-Abbas: (The apostle of Allah prohibited inciting animals.)
There are many other prophetic recommendations that make Muslims beneficent and compassionate to their animals, Abu-Tharr talked to his camel when he was at his deathbed and said: O camel, don’t complain me to your God at the Day of Judgment, I didn’t make you starve or bear you more than your ability.
There is also an amazing incident narrated after Amr Ibn-Al-Aas, when he entered Egypt and located his tent at Al-Fostat (a place in Cairo now), he wanted to fold the tents to move to Alexandria when he knew that the Romans collected there, they told him that two doves made a nest and laid their eggs on his tent, he ordered them to let that tent so as not to frighten the two doves or break their eggs, and they went to Alexandria without it.
Is there compassion and mercy to animals more than this?

The woman and public jobs

The apostle of Allah (Blessings and peace of Allah be upon him) said: (They never be successful those who have a woman as their leader.) Does this Hadeeth have a general meaning?
However we saw examples in the past and the present of successful leading women such as Balkees (The queen of Yemen).
The prophet (Blessings and peace of Allah be upon him) said this Hadeeth in a certain occasion, when they told him that the Persian king died and that the Persians chose his daughter as his successor, then he (Blessings and peace of Allah be upon him) said this Hadeeth: (They never be successful those who have a woman as their leader.) He meant that the Persians wouldn’t be successful anymore, and he was right as their kingdom vanished.
Some scholars limited themselves to the apparent verbal meaning of the Hadeeth and forbade the woman from any leading position even if she has suitable scientific qualifications or leading practical successes. Other scholars followed the Hanafy doctrine that this Hadeeth related to the highest leadership which is the presidency or the caliphate, but she can do other available jobs including judgeship which need her experience about the matters connected to women. Most modern scholars agree with this opinion, they verified this by the great successes Muslim woman achieved in all fields. Some scholars opened all leading jobs to her even presidency as in Pakistan and Bangladesh. There is not a leading position banned for a woman unless it is not suitable for her nature or her character, the prophet (Blessings and peace of Allah be upon him) said: (Women are men’s full sisters.)

The secrets of slaughtering animals in Islam

: Why did Islam criminate and forbid choking
animals to death, stunning them or shocking them, and only allows slaughtering them to be Halal (legal)?
Islam orders to do everything in the best proper way even slaughtering, the prophet (blessings and peace of Allah be upon him) said: (If you slaughter, do it well, you should sharpen your knife and ease your animal.)
To do this he ordered to give water to the animal at first, to sharpen the knife so as to cut quickly, not to sharpen the knife in front of the animal, not to slaughter the animal in front of other animals, to pat on its back and lay it gently on the right side, to hold the animal tightly and say the name of God first so that the animal submits to him and easily slaughtered.
On the other hand, modern technology proved that blood is the store of bacteria, germs and microbes in the body, if the animal dies in any other way without blood shed, blood leaks into its flesh with the harmful substances in it, then if we cook this meat, there is still some germs, microbes and bacteria that affect the eater badly because they were not completely died. But if we shed the blood as in Islam, the blood get out completely with the harmful substances and just too little things remain in the flesh after washing which can easily be died in the normal boiling temperature as it is being cooked, then man can eat it safely.

Islam and peoples of other religions

How does Islam see peoples of other religions?
Islam sees peoples of other religions as they are as human as us, we should respect them, appreciate them, deal with them, benefit from them, benefit them and treat them properly, it was narrated that the apostle of Allah (Blessings and peace of Allah be upon him): (A funeral procession passed him, he stood up, people said: O apostle of Allah, he is a Jewish, he said: Isn’t it a soul?).
The more astonishing is that it happened when he (blessings and peace of Allah be upon him) was in war with the people of Mecca there was starvation there, as a human he sent them a caravan of camels loaded with foods and five hundred golden dinar. Among his most human situations also (blessings and peace of Allah be upon him), that he used to forbid killing women, children and old people in wars, he ordered them to kill warriors only, he also forbade them to fire plants, destroy houses or to stain non-Muslims’ hermitages, monasteries and churches, Allah says about all this:
“Allah forbids you not, with regard to those who fight you not for (your) Faith nor drive you out of your homes, from dealing kindly and justly with them: for Allah loves those who are just.”
 Surat Al-Momtahana, Verse 8.

Women circumcision

If Islam honors woman and gives her rights to her, why it allows circumcising her and cutting part of her organs?
Islam doesn’t impose women circumcision, there is no obligation to do, but it is just preferable if a doctor sees it, the prophet (blessings and peace of Allah be upon him) said: (Circumcision is a Sunna (rubric) for men and honor for women.)
The matter is that women are not the same about this i.e. the length of clitoris, the organ from which a part is cut when necessary, if there is an abnormal woman who has a long clitoris near man’s organ, only the doctor can decide this, then Islam allows cutting small part done by the doctor so she can be moderate and not over lustful, because if she is over lustful she can harm herself, her family and her society. So the apostle of Allah said to Om-Ateya, who used to do women circumcision at that time: (O Om-Ateya, lower don’t wear out.) When Islam allows women circumcision, it is only for a few abnormal numbers who are different from normal women, not for normal moderate women. However our modern scholars tend to the idea that women circumcision is an old habit maybe only related to pharaohs, because circumcision is found only in Muslim African countries, but in Asia even in Saudi Arabia where Islam started there is no women circumcision, so it is pre-Islamic habit and Islam just adjusted and modified it.
The American researcher Marry Stews says in her book (The guide in sexual relations): Among the best habits Muslims do is women circumcision as some women has clitoris nearly as long as man’s penis, such a woman whenever her clitoris scratches her under clothes she gets sexually aroused.

Question: What is the aim of circumcision of men in Islam?

The aim of circumcision of man in Islam firstly is to distinguish between Muslim man and others; this is an important sign to know someone’s religion after his death. If he is circumcised, then he is a Muslim so Muslims carry out washing him, shrouding him, perform prayers upon him and burying him in Muslims’ graves. Circumcision preserves his rights as a Muslim after his death; this happens mostly during accidents and wars so they know the religion by circumcision.
Secondly, the prophet (blessings and peace of Allah be upon him) said that the description of the people of paradise where we all hope to go, is that they are circumcised, so circumcision is a glad tiding that a Muslim will go to paradise.
Thirdly, modern medicine also mentioned the medical benefits for circumcision for men; they said that viruses, microbes and germs collect around the foreskin which is cut and this lead to infection and diseases like cancer, so some European countries tend to men circumcision lately after realizing the medical benefits.

The degree of beneficence (doing favor)

The degree of beneficence
 (doing favor)

Question: There is lots of criticism about Sufism, we ask for some advice to be true Sufis following the Sunna of our prophet (May the blessings and peace of Allah be upon him) and also a good method include all good groups?

Answer: The opposition is almost against the name, because when we see reality, we see that Sufism is following Sharia (the orders of Allah), this Sharia was divided by our sir Gabriel into Islam, belief and favor, when he asked the messenger (May the blessings and peace of Allah be upon him) saying: "What is Islam? ………" Until he said: "This is Gabriel came to teach you your religion."[2]

Sufism, apart from the name, is a group of people who say that they are not satisfied by the degree of Islam or belief. In life we are not satisfied by lower degrees, those who are in the third degree want the second, those who are in the second fight to get the first, those who are in the first want to be general directors, general directors want to be under secretary and those who are under secretary want to be ministers or governors. Why are we satisfied by lower degrees in religion, we want to be among the people of benefaction, benefaction means as the prophet said:

"To worship Allah as if you see Him, if you can't see Him, He sees you."

Whoever wants to reach this degree, he should do everything well as it should be, how? We say to him, you should look at the noble prophet and see his conditions and his deeds not only his sayings, you should follow his deeds and his conditions to get the degree of favor and to be among those Allah says about them:

"Surely Allah is with those who guard (against evil) and those who do good (to others)."
(Surat An'nahl, verse 128)

To be the king of his soul's kingdom not a slave for it

Thirdly: To be the king of his soul's
kingdom not a slave for it

Invocations of prophets and apostles in the noble Koran is the door from which we know the high politeness in dealing with Allah and the secrets of their dealing with their Lord, and so are the invocations narrated after righteous people in their conditions and Awrad, so Imam Abul-Aza'em clarified this fact and said:
"There is beauty in my invocation realized only by the youthful or the hearty."
Invocation of righteous people has spiritual beauty only realized by those who reached the degree of Fotowwah (youthfulness - strength in applying the orders of Allah), so when we look at the invocation of our sir Ibraheem as Allah says:
"O my Lord! Bestow ruling on me, and join me with the righteous. Grant me honorable mention on the tongue of truth among the latest (generations). Make me one of the inheritors of the Garden of Bliss. Forgive my father, for that he is among those astray. And let me not be in disgrace on the Day when (people) will be raised up. The Day when neither wealth nor sons will avail, But only he (will prosper) that brings to Allah a sound heart."
 (Surat Asho'araa', verses 83 - 89)
We see that it implies highly knowledge not got by reading but knowledge by Allah, prophets reached the extreme in the knowledge of Allah. Enemies of Allah might have knowledge of the orders of Allah and Sharia better than believers, but knowledge of Allah is as Imam Abul-Aza'em said:
"Knowledge of Allah is ambiguous only realized by adorers who are in great adoration."
Knowledge of Allah is something ambiguous only known by those who have pure hearts for Allah from everything else, our sir Ibraheem started his invocation here by:
"O my Lord! Bestow ruling on me, and join me with the righteous."
The first thing he asked from Allah is to grant him domination or ruling, what ruling does he ask? When ordinary people listen to the verse, they think that he wanted kingship, i.e. he wanted to be a king, a leader or a president, but he didn’t want that, he wanted to be a ruler or a king over the special kingdom given to him by Allah, it is the kingdom of man about which Imam Ali said:
"You allege that you are small creature while in you lies the greatest world."
Man contains universes by the facts Allah granted him, he is as a small universe and the universe is as a big man, if Allah loves a servant and this servant is a good follower on the way of Allah, Allah will grant him ruling his soul as Allah says:
"When he reached full age, and was firmly established (in life), We bestowed on him leadership and knowledge, "
(Surat Al-Kasas, verse 14)
Revelatory knowledge only comes after man controls and rules his soul, whoever wants revelatory knowledge, he should control his kingdom first, he shouldn’t deal with it according to his desire but he rules it by the orders of Allah, man shouldn’t have wish with the orders of Allah, after ruling it, Allah grants him knowledge as He says: "We bestowed on him leadership and knowledge,"
Ruling comes first because if Allah grants him divine revelatory knowledge without ruling his soul, man naturally tends to reputation, then he will say the jewels of this knowledge not to its proper people, and this is high treason to Allah, such treasonous will be punished by cutting his neck on the way of Allah, he won't be accepted by Allah, Imam Abul-Aza'em said about this:
"Keep my secret, my secret shouldn’t be disclosed, whoever discloses the secret, he will be ended. Our knowledge is in a position higher than minds as it is clear hidden light. Our Lord granted it to us, it is an ambiguous secret, how it is disclosed!"
That who is granted ruling his soul; he prefers to be jailed than to disclose it to improper people, as our sir Yusof said:
"He said: O my Lord, the prison is more to my liking than that to which they invite me."
(Surat Yusof, verse 33)
He preferred to be imprisoned than disclosing secrets, however if he disclosed these secrets to them, they would promote him and give him great position and he wouldn’t be sent to prison, but he kept these secrets inside his chest and didn’t tell them anything. Our sir Moses did the same thing when he said: "My breast will be straitened," i.e. from the knowledge and secrets of Allah inside it, "And my speech may not go (smoothly),"
(Surat Asho'araa', verse 13)
i.e. only to my brothers whose hearts afford these knowledge and meanings.
But if he sits among people and the desire to speech and longing to be respected died in his soul, he doesn’t speak to be noticed or to be ennobled by anyone or to get anything in this life, but he only talks when Allah grants him provision from the treasure of his heart for those chosen by Allah. It is as if these meanings in the heart of the righteous man are as the trust of Allah, his heart is as a treasure for these divine knowledge and meanings, he tells people only what Allah permits, he knows this by the eye of his heart, if he sits with great scholars but they have no permission from Allah and their hearts are not ready for this knowledge, he won't utter a single word even if they backbite or insult him, because he only seeks Allah's face, the first thing our sir Ibraheem asked is what great righteous and truthful people ask followers to do.
The first thing I should concentrate on in the way of Allah to reach Allah's satisfaction, is to ask Allah to give me the control of my soul and not to make it controls me according to its desires and wishes. Everything Allah grants to righteous people of karamat (miracles), knowledge and bounties is the result of controlling to kingdom of the soul. When a righteous man was seen flying in the air, they asked him how he got this position, he said:
"I put my wish under my foot so Allah gave me the control of air."
The interest of a truthful follower should be the control of his soul, if he has other interests; they are the wishes of the soul.
Are there followers who have other interests? Or other lower aims from fighting their souls? Yes, some followers want Allah to grant them meanings to attract people or listeners even if they are not followers on the way of Allah, others want to show Karamat and be mentioned that he is one of  righteous people, others want to have shrines and visited by people after his death, what will people give you after your death and what will you get from them? Others want people to kiss their hands and confess their grace and they are happy to hear that mentioned in people's sittings, and also lots of other things the soul desires and the wish hopes for.
The truthful follower is that who understand the words of the father of prophets and apostles when he started his invocation saying: "O my Lord! Bestow ruling on me, and join me with the righteous."
I.e. give me control over my soul to join righteous people, who are righteous people?
The word Saleh (righteous) means, that who is ready for Allah, his heart is ready for the descending of lights of Allah, his secret is ready for seeing our sir the apostle of Allah, his spirit is ready for getting highly demands like sociability, amicability and adoration of Allah and his body is ready for obeying Allah externally and internally, secretly and apparently, so he becomes totally ready for Allah. The degree of righteous people is a high degree so our sir Ibraheem made it his aim and his hope. The hope of a truthful servant who is with his Lord is to join him with righteous people by making him following them, because Allah only decorates those He loves and chooses by the manners and conditions of righteous people, this oh brothers only got by hard strive of the soul.

THE SOUL
By
Fawzy Mohammed Abu-Zeid

Your soul is the way to Allah

He will mention the way that I should go through to Allah following his guidance and his directions. Do you know what is the way that we should go through to Allah?
This way oh my brothers, my lovers and my dear readers, is a unique separated way for everyone of us, there are not two ways completely similar.
It is incorporeal way; do you know where it is? It is inside you yourself, it is your soul that is amongst your both sides, the way is from you to Allah. The station of start is you, the way is your soul and the destination is to Allah. You travel from your soul by the help and support of the experienced guide to go to your Lord.
The soul which is totally incorporeal worlds, is the way to Allah that you should go through. So, it is intangible way, and reaching Allah is also intangible, the beauty of Allah and being near to Him is also intangible beauty and nearness or adjacency.
The leader in this hard journey is the experienced guide who knows the roughness of the soul and the obstacles of the way, he followed the same way and come back with a graduated servant, so, Allah prepared him for that and permitted him to get people nearer to Allah. Allah made him a doctor of hearts and spirits, He gave him the key of righteousness and said to him: "Go to those people to guide them to the right way, you are their leader by Us to Us and you get people by Us to Us."
He is so happy, that who knows the experienced leader and the noble guide, went to him truthfully, submitted to him and asked him to show him the way, humbly put his sick heart in front of him, just at this time he starts the way.

right path

There must be the guide, it is the guide that takes his hands to the right path, he should be respectful to him at this, the same politeness that the companions used to have with the prophet (May the blessings and peace of Allah be upon him).
Although Allah chose our sir Moses as a prophet and revealed His message to him, when Allah wanted him to reach perfection and degrees of perfect men, He saw that his soul was still alive, He ordered him to go to a righteous man to seek perfection.
I'll mention the story in brief:
After Allah granted Moses and his people and they went out of Egypt and He destroyed the pharaoh and his soldiers, they were very happy by the favor of Allah and they met to thank Allah, our sir Moses numerated the grants of Allah over him and his people, he mentioned a lot of them even their eyes were always teary. When Moses finished, they asked him: "Oh Moses, is there anyone who has more knowledge than you?" He said: "No." Allah expostulated him at once because Allah likes his slaves to be modest to Him, He said to all of us in the noble Koran:
"Above every knowledgeable one, there is one who is even more knowledgeable." (Surat Yusof, verse 76)
Never feel arrogance or that you not need the guide in the way of these devoted people even if you studied so much, got much knowledge, wrote lots of books and have lots of audiences, you surely need sheikh, conductor and the knowledgeable applying guide who directs you because Allah said to His beloved (May the blessings and peace of Allah be upon him) whom He taught things that He never taught anyone else:
"And say, "My Lord, increase my knowledge." (Surat Taha, verse 114)
Although Allah taught him all types of knowledge and gave him knowledge of past, present and future,  He also asks him to keep seeking more knowledge and never stop doing that.
There is no end to seeking knowledge and no end to studying it from birth to death.
So, Allah revealed to Moses and expostulated him: "How you say that while there is on earth someone who has more knowledge than you." He was astonished and asked: "Who's he? Oh my Lord, take me to him." Allah says:
"One of our servants, whom we blessed with mercy, and bestowed upon him from our own knowledge." (Surat Al-Kahf, verse 65)
"Go to Al-Khedr." He asked: "Where is he Oh my Lord?" He said: "You find him at the meeting of the two seas, take your servant, a roasted fish and food in a basket, when the fish jump into water, this is his place." Our sir Moses prepared what Allah asked him, he traveled with his servant, the basket with the fish and the food, he ordered his servant to watch the fish and tell him if he sees it moving, Moses vowed to walk to the servant (Al-Khedr) hundred years to learn from him as Allah says:
"I will not rest until I reach the point where the two seas meet, no matter how long it takes."
 (Surat Al-Kahf, verse 60)
That who seeks knowledge shouldn’t stop or feel bored or tired, he should ask for more, whatever Allah taught him he always asks for more knowledge from Allah as the prophet said:
"Two crapulous never feel satiated; a knowledge seeker and life seeker."
Moses and his servant walked, when they reached the rock where they were to meet the servant, they were tired and they slept, the servant came and did ablution, the water  (drizzle or spray) reached the fish, it got back to life and it went into the sea, then the servant went, Moses and his servant woke up and continued traveling, they felt tired and hungry and wanted to eat, Moses said to his servant:
"Let us have lunch. All this traveling has thoroughly exhausted us."
(Surat Al-Kahf, verse 63)
The servant looked in the basket but he didn’t find the fish, he remembered and they went back, when they reached the rock, they saw Al-Khedr asleep, Al-Khedr said: "You are Moses of Bani-Israel?" He said: "Yes, who told you about me?" He said: "That who sent you to me." As Allah says:
"Moses said to him,
"Can I follow you, so that you may teach me some of the knowledge and the guidance bestowed upon you? He said, "You cannot stand to be with me. How can you stand that which you do not comprehend?"
(Surat Al-Kahf, verses 66, 67, 68)
At that moment, a bird came down and drank from the sea, Al-Khedr said:
"Oh Moses, you have knowledge from Allah that I don’t know, I have knowledge from Allah that you don’t know, both my knowledge and yours, according to the knowledge of Allah, is like what that bird drank from this sea."
I.e. the drop, that the bird took from the sea, and so how much knowledge do all people have from Allah's knowledge, secrets and inspirations? All the knowledge of people from the beginning of this life to its end according to the knowledge of Allah doesn’t even equal an atom, because the knowledge of Allah never to be counted or known as He is The All-Knowing and The All-wise.
Moses asked the good servant to follow him and to teach him from the guidance of Allah with him although Moses is the prophet of Allah, His interlocutor and one of the greatest apostles, the servant explained to him that they are higher conditions, it is not easy for him to understand or be patient when he sees them although he knows about Sharia because he doesn’t know their secrets, but Moses promised to be patient, the servant stipulated that he shouldn’t ask him about anything until he himself tells him about it first.
They are the manners and the commandments between the teacher and the learner, between the guide and the pupil between the chastening sheikh and his student.
Allah teaches us that the scholar of legislation should learn from the scholar of fact and the scholar of fact should also benefit from the scholar of legislation.
The true scholar is that who follows Sharia externally and gets knowledge and facts from lights of Allah internally until he becomes as Allah says:
"He bestows wisdom upon whomever He chooses, and whoever attains wisdom, has attained a great bounty." (Surat Al-Bakarah, verse 269)
Moses walked with the servant and the journey of the learned prophet and the teaching servant started, Allah mentioned it in His noble book to be as a guide and a way to us.
After this oh brothers, whoever scorn or disapprove to look for the conserving sheikh and guiding teacher however knowledge or deeds he has?
I'll explain it in more details oh brothers and readers, the need to conserving sheikh in the way of Sufis, and the guide who clarifies the way of chastening the soul and exposing what is hidden in it is essential because no one can chasten his soul by himself.
There should be the guide (sheikh, teacher, conserver), lets express this by modern terms, there should be the doctor, experienced doctor and expert in medicine graduated from the faculty of:
"Muhammad - the messenger of GOD - and those with him." (Surat Al-Fat'h, verse 29)
He should have certified rays by:
"Say, "This is my path: I invite to GOD, on the basis of a clear proof, and so do those who follow me." (Surat Yusof, verse 108)
He examines me by his rays, shows me my faults and gives me medicine from the pharmacy of Koran and the drug-store of the prophet, they are drug stores but I not to know my illness or the prescription, there should be an experienced licensee adviser as mentioned by Allah:
"The Most Gracious; ask about Him those who are well founded in knowledge."
 (Surat Al-Furkan, verse 59)
He knows my case and gives me the suitable medicine as the apostle of Allah (May the blessings and peace of Allah be upon him) used to do with his companions, for example:
Someone asks him for preach, he said to him: "Never get upset." He said to another one: "Never tell lies." He puts his hand on the chest of a third one and supplicates for him, he said to a fourth one: "Recite the Koran a little louder." He orders a fifth one to recite the Koran a little quieter, a sixth one asks him to be with him in paradise, he supplicates for him and delights him, he orders a seventh one to prostrate a lot as this is to chasten his soul, he orders an eighth one to eat legal food, he orders a ninth one to tell the truth.
Another one asks him to give him a part of Koran to recite (as purvey), he tells him not to finish it in less than three days, he tells another one to finish it in a week and he advises another one not to be interested in numbering the verses.
He takes from someone all his wealth as charity because he sees him ready for this, he tells another that he should only give one third and that one third is much.
A poor man asks for money and he asks people to give him and he asks another one to buy an axe and collect wood to sell and comes to him after a week to see what he did.
Someone asks him to let him fast more days, he tells him to fast only three days a month and he tells another one to fast day after day.
Enough examples?
By Allah, if we numerate different prophetic prescriptions and numerous recipes of Mohammed and most of them are apparently similar but they are internally different, he gives everyone who asks him what suits his spiritual power and the organs of his body, we couldn’t mention all these examples.
So, we assure and say: "Never pay attention to those who oppose the way of Allah." The experienced guide should have the rays of insight and permission from luminous prophet (May the blessings and peace of Allah be upon him), he doesn’t help followers to reach Allah's favor by himself but by Allah's bounties and His support he guides and promotes people to his Lord because he took permission and signs of the way from his Lord as Allah says:
"Inviting to GOD, in accordance with His will, and a guiding beacon." (Surat Al-Ahzab, verse 46)
So, we say if the doctor hasn’t got permission from the beloved (May the blessings and peace of Allah be upon him), he may give me a thousand unit antibiotic while I only need a two hundred unit one. He must give me the suitable dose or he ruins me and leads me to death, then he is not the spiritual doctor who can help me to chasten my soul.
He is a luminous doctor and spiritual wise man educated by a previous doctor. Oh you who is arrogant to know the tracks of the way by an experienced guide, you should know that this experienced guide only knew the way and followed it by a previous guide and previous smart expert, and so they follow one another to the greatest expert (May the blessings and peace of Allah be upon him).
Can anyone learn medicine only from books? Without working in practical hospital? Or being taught by a doctor? He should apply this knowledge in a hospital, he should watch doctors and they teach and direct him that he should perform this surgery by this way and the other one so and so, and so in everything. If this is the medicine of bodies, what you think of the medicine of hearts? If the medicine of bodies needs practice and experience, then the medicine of hearts needs more and more, as the righteous man Ibn Al-Banna Assarkasty said:
"These people are traveling to Allah. They needed in their way to a guide, who knows when to go and when to rest. He went through this way and came back to tell people what he learned."
So, I do need learned applying experienced permitted smart guide or doctor, if I go to the applying knowledgeable guide, he will teach me and take my hands.

What is the aim of circumcision of men in Islam?

Why the Sunnis fight with the Shiites if Islam is the religion of peace?6

Allah afflicted Muslims as He afflicted others by some flatterers or adulators who seek this life, leadership, reputation and fame, those can do any thing to reach their goals. The pure essence of Islam has no disputes among all Muslims if they are truthful, the dispute comes when someone adopts a personal view in a verse from the book of Allah, a hadith of the apostle of Allah or an order of Sharia of Allah, such a view the religion encourages on condition that it has no fanaticism that gets him to keep to his opinion thinking that he is the right one and that others are wrong. This inferior view to the verses of the book of Allah, the hadiths of the apostle of Allah and the rules of the religion of Allah is the cause of separation of Muslims, when such a person adopts an idea, though he is not infallible, then he does his best to prove that he and his followers are right and that others are wrong, he can also attack those who are different from him, defame them and even fight them to support the view he follows, so Allah says:
“And hold fast, all together, by the rope which Allah (stretches out for you), and be not divided among yourselves”
Surat Ala-Imran, Verse 103.
Allah also says about the group we mentioned:
“As for those who divide their religion and break up into sects, you have no part in them”
Surat Al-Anaam, Verse 159.
The prophet (Blessings and peace of Allah be upon him) said: (That who calls for fanaticism is not one of us.) It is a fact that Shiites love Imam Ali and his family and this is what all Muslims do, but if a group of them go far beyond this to fight other companions of the apostle of Allah such as Abu-Bakr or Omar or Othman, this is what the Sunnis and the mass reject. Shiites follow the doctrine of Imam Ja’far in jurisprudence and that is not wrong, but they don’t have to think that he is the only right one and that all the other doctrines are wrong, they should do as the Sunnis and the mass do, they admit the four juristic doctrines Maleky, Hanafy, Shafey and Hanbaly, they shouldn’t differentiate among them but let each Muslim free to choose anyone to follow on condition that he never attacks or fights others.
So if we see that there is a dispute that leads to division and fight between Sunnis and Shiites then this is not because of the doctrine and their Islamic principles but because of desire, fanaticism partiality and other sectarianisms Islamic religion annihilated, and they awakened them after death, the prophet (blessings and peace of Allah be upon him) said: (Muslim is brother to Muslim, he never oppresses him, he never lets him down, he never despises him, piety is here (he refers to his chest three times, enough of doing sin for a Muslim if he scorns his Muslim brother, all the Muslim is inviolable to the Muslim his blood, his wealth and his honor.)

If Islam allows a Muslim to marry four wives, why did it allow Prophet Mohammed more than that?5

Allah allowed the prophet (blessings and peace of Allah be upon him) to marry more than four wives because He knew that the prophet (blessings and peace of Allah be upon him) didn’t marry them for his desire, he stayed till the age of fifty with one wife only, she is Sayeda Khadeeja, he married the other women after the age of fifty, this was as a settlement for his call and strengthening the relations between him and his companions, it was and still affinity is the most important thing that increase unity and cooperation between people, so we see that there is useful effect for the religion of Allah and a legal reason for every marriage. He married Aa’esha Bent Abi-Bakr and Hafsa Bent Omar caring and supporting the relation between him and his dear companions, he married Zainab Bebt Jahsh to start by himself fulfilling the order of Allah to abolish adoption and the rules for adopted son’s wife, he married Ramla bent Abi-Sufyan because her husband became Christian after immigrating to Ethiopia and left her alone with no supporter, and her father was the prophet’s strongest enemy at that time, so he had to marry her to keep her religion , he married Om-Salama when she lost her breadwinner and had many young children to help her bringing up her children, and so on we see that every marriage has legal reason not for desire, so Allah allowed him those marriages because they were for legislative purposes and for helping to prevail Islam.

What is the proof that Prophet Mohammed was an apostle from Allah?3

The proof that Prophet Mohammed was an apostle from Allah is clear by the following:
1- The glad tidings narrated about him in torah and the gospel after prophets Moses and Jesus. Abdullah Ibn-Amr Ibn-Al-Aas read and perused the previous scriptures, he said that the prophet was described in the torah and the gospel the same as he was described in the Koran, then he mentioned the text he found in them: (O Prophet! truly We have sent you as a witness, a bearer of glad tidings, and a Warner, you are My servant and My apostle, I called you Al Motawakel (the one who put his trust on Allah in everything), he is not severe or harsh or roaring in markets, he doesn’t repel evil by evil but he forgives and pardons, I won’t end his life until I reform by him the crooked religion, so that they say La Ilaha Illa Allah (There is no God but Allah), and by him I open blind eyes and deaf ears.) There are so many texts narrated about that, whoever wants to see more he should go to the books mentioned them and they are so many.
2- What Heracles the Roman’s emperor mentioned in the dialogue between him and Abu-Sofyan, when the prophet sent him a message calling him to Islam, it said: (In the name of Allah the most gracious the most merciful, from Mohammed the apostle of Allah to Heracles the emperor of the Romans, be a Muslim and you will be safe, Allah will double you your favor, if you shun then you are responsible for your followers.)
The Koran says:
Say: "O People of the Book! Come to common terms as between us and you, that we all worship none but Allah, that we associate no partners with him; that we erect not from among ourselves Lords and patrons other than Allah." If then they turn back, say you: "Bear witness that we (at least) are Muslims (bowing to Allah’s Will).”
 Surat Ala-Imran Verse 64.
When he got this message he asked his followers if there were any of his family in Jerusalem, they searched its markets and found Abu- Sofyan Ibn-Harb with few people from Mecca, and Abu- Sofyan was the leader of the people of Mecca and their leader in the fight against the apostle of Allah, Heracles asked them to enter and asked about their leader, they pointed to Abu- Sofyan, he told them to stand behind him and pointed him as a liar if he said anything untrue, then he asked him through a translator:
Heraclius: Has anyone of his family alleged this thing before?
Abu- Sofyan: No.
Heraclius: Has his family lost a reign or dominion and he seeks it back?
Abu- Sofyan: No.
Heraclius: What is his ancestry?
Abu- Sofyan: He is moderate (middle class) amongst us.
Heraclius: Was he a liar amongst you?
Abu- Sofyan: No.
Heraclius: Who follow him? The rich or the poor?
Abu- Sofyan: The poor.
Heraclius: Do his followers increase or decrease?
Abu- Sofyan: They increase.
Heraclius: Does any of them return and leave him after following him?
Abu- Sofyan: No.
…………….. Etc.
Then Heraclius said: You told me that he never lied to you, so he never to let lying to you and lie to God, you said that his followers are the poor and those are the followers of prophets, you said that no one of his followers leaves him and this is the truth when it touches hearts and you said that there was not reign in his family so he seeks it back.
If you are truthful then this is the prophet Jesus mentioned to us, lest the people around me, I would go and wash his feet and God will support him until he owns what is below my feet.
3- What was narrated after priests, rabbis and monks who were alive when he was born or told about him before he was born and this is mentioned a lot in books and references talked about him (blessing and peace of God be upon him).
4- What modern technology proved about the miraculous nature of his words and his phrases, and also what is mentioned in the holy Koran as both Koran and Sunna agree with the latest theories and scientific rules unlike torah and gospel because they not agree with true modern science, this was mentioned in many researches and books such as: The Bible, The Qur'an and Science by Morris Bokay.
5- This is also about everything the human nature seeks such as, desires, wishes, position, honor, food, drinks, clothing, residence, vehicle, women, etc, though he needs such things badly, only a prophet’s soul can give up such things.
6- His great effect upon those around him, he formed a perfect talented group for the humanity in all fields and all ages, history has never seen a true love from one person to another as Abu-Bakr loved him (Blessings and peace of Allah be upon him), there has never been in history a just and fair ruler as Omar, genius in leading armies gets humble if compared with Khalid Ibn-Al-Waleed, its so rare among people to find intuition in fatwa as that of Imam Ali Ibn-Abi-Taleb, there are so many of those perfect followers of the prophet in all fields this is admitted by enemies before friends.
7- Throughout history, there has never been a superpower or an empire but they depend on moral values and human principles mentioned in his call even if they not taking this from him, we see modern civilization depends mainly on the values he calls for such as hard work, sincerity, truthfulness in work, giving more attention to time and other good values that show that what he gets is suitable and useful for humanity at all times and everywhere. As he has never been educated at universities or scientific institutions nor accompanied any philosophers or scholars, so this was the true evidence that what he got was just a revelation from Allah and that he is a prophet from Allah.

Does Islam allow home violence like beating wife and children?2

Islam made the basis of marital relationship upon love and mercy, Allah says:
“And among His Signs is this, that He created for you mates from among yourselves, that you may dwell in tranquility with them, and He has put love and mercy between your (hearts):”
 Surat Arrum, Verse 21.
The basis of marital relationship is love, cordiality and mercy, and the basis of bringing up children is passion, tenderness, kindness and benefaction, but organizing the matters of the family, as Islam is the religion of general arrangement in all fields of life, it makes for every house a leader to take decisions after consulting the members, so the leadership is to the man and he is also the breadwinner, we know that to be successful the leader should be resolute sometimes as it was said: (He got strict so that they fear him and whoever steady should sometimes be strict for whom he is merciful).
Islam gave him limited authority sometimes when there is disobedience, dispute or rebellion, Allah says:
“As to those women on whose part you fear disloyalty and ill-conduct, admonish them (first), (Next), refuse to share their beds, (And last) beat them (lightly); but if they return to obedience, seek not against them Means (of annoyance),”
Surat Annesaa’, Verse 34.
The verse is clear, the obedient woman who agrees with her husband and lives with him properly, he has no way to use any harshness with her, but the woman who is ill by the illness of disobedience and dispute Allah set him a plan to treat her starting by preaching and advising her in a lenient way, if this means is not successful then he abandon her in bed they sleep in the same room but he never does sex with her, but he shouldn’t sleep in other room and leave her lest the dispute gets bigger, if this means is not successful then he pretends that he is going to beat her, beating here is as Imam Abu-Hneefa said: He knots a handkerchief made of cloth and hit her by it. As the handkerchief doesn’t hurt or leave any effect, so it was clear that the aim is just to threaten and prevent her, it is not real beat, the prophet (blessings and peace of Allah be upon him) made it more clear and forbade beating on the face or to leave any sign on the body. We see that beating is to that who is ill by the illness of recalcitrance, the same thing is with children, it is just threatening by the punishment and using it properly as mentioned in Koran and Sunna when necessary to straighten the crooked and reforming the bad, but no such thing is allowed with a good woman and good children.

Why does Islam punish the apostate by killing?1

The punishment of apostate

Islam admits freedom in religion for all those who
are under Muslims’ authority, Allah says:
“Say, “The truth is from your Lord” Then whoever wills let him believe, and whoever wills let him disbelieve,” Surat Al-Kahf, Verse 29.
It showed that calling non-Muslims to Islam is only by wisdom and good preaching; it prohibited violence, severity, force, compelling and obligation in calling to religion, because it wants the Muslim to control his heart, so it doesn’t concern the appearance of man but concentrate on calling his interior and this only comes by his choice, if we force someone apparently and caused him to do something, we can’t affect his heart, if he agrees with us apparently and disagree by his heart this is called hypocrisy, Islam prohibit hypocrisy and scold hypocrites, so we see when Islam calls disbelievers or sons or daughters or wives it mainly depends on what Allah says:
“Let there be no compulsion in religion
” Surat Al-Bakarah, Verse 256.
The call is only by proof, logic and inference, Islam gives man the chance to believe in any religion he chooses and only announces being a Muslim after persuasion, assurance and evidence, once he becomes a Muslim by persuasion and when he apostatizes he seduces other Muslims around him, so Islam takes a position towards him so as not to affect those around him and they also reverse, this is the opinion of some Muslim scholars. But our opinion as most modern Muslim scholars such as the former Sheikh of Al-Azhar Sheikh Mohammed Sayed Tantawy and others, they see that killing the apostate is not a must in Sharia but only in some situations in which the apostate himself turns to be a fighter and a disputant against Islam.
