This is Mohammed's letter to Christian Monks at Mt. Sinai:

"This is a message from Muhammad Ibn Abdullah, as a covenant to those who adopt Christianity, near and far, we are with them.
Verily I, the servants, the helpers, and my followers defend them, because Christians are my citizens, and by Allah! I hold out against anything that displeases them.

No compulsion is to be on them.

Neither are their judges to be removed from their jobs nor their monks from their monasteries.

No one is to destroy a house of their religion, to damage it, or to carry anything from it to the Muslims' houses.

Should anyone take any of these, he would spoil God's covenant and disobey his prophet. Verily, they are my allies and have my secure charter against all that they hate.

No one is to force them to travel or to oblige them to fight.

The Muslims are to fight for them.

If a female Christian is married to a Muslim, it is not to take place without her approval. She is not to be prevented from visiting her church to pray.

Their churches are to be respected. They are neither to be prevented from repairing them nor the sacredness of their covenants.

Jesus in the Koran and the Bible

Jesus isn't the Father/Allah.
But he is The King in The Kingdom of Heaven as The chief priest. Everyone who live in heaven kingdom is The Son of God. It means that many people who is going to live in the heaven kingdom is sons of God as Jesus.
Why Jesus is the Son of God?
Because he came from there and to return with the lost sheeps at the end of world.Jesus isn't the Father/Allah.But he is The King in The Kingdom of Heaven as The chief priest. Everyone who live in heaven kingdom is The Son of God. It means that many people who is going to live in the heaven kingdom is sons of God as Jesus. Why Jesus is the Son of God? Because he came from there and to return with the lost sheeps at the end of world.
Each prophet was the saviour and light for his people during that time Moses was the saviour for his people during his time likewise prohet Noah for his people, the verse I and my father are one is for one purpose ,if you read John 10:21That they all may be one; as thou, Father, art in me, and I in thee, that they also may be one in us: that the world may believe that thou hast sent me, which clearly states this. and if brother you still say that jesus and God are one in actual unity then Jesus further says in John10:23 to his disciples iam in thee and you are in me so does it mean that there are fourteen Gods no brothers .Jesus was a prophet and he was a great prophet

I) Position of Jesus (pbuh) in Islam:
(i)Islam is the only non-Christian faith, which makes it an article of faith to believe in Jesus (pbuh). No Muslim is a Muslim if he does not believe in Jesus (pbuh).
(ii) We believe that he was one of the mightiest Messengers of Allah (swt).
(iii) We believe that he was born miraculously, without any male intervention, which many modern day Christians do not believe.
(iv) We believe he was the Messiah translated Christ (pbuh).
(v) We believe that he gave life to the dead with God’s permission.
(iv) We believe that he healed those born blind, and the lepers with God’s permission.

II) Concept of God in Christianity:

1. Jesus Christ (pbuh) never claimed Divinity
One may ask, if both Muslims and Christians love and respect Jesus (pbuh), where exactly is the parting of ways? The major difference between Islam and Christianity is the Christians’ insistence on the supposed divinity of Christ (pbuh). A study of the Christian scriptures reveals that Jesus (pbuh) never claimed divinity. In fact there is not a single unequivocal statement in the entire Bible where Jesus (pbuh) himself says, "I am God" or where he says, "worship me". In fact the Bible contains statements attributed to Jesus (pbuh) in which he preached quite the contrary. The following statements in the Bible are
attributed to Jesus Christ (pbuh):
(i) "My Father is greater than I."
[The Bible, John 14:28]
(ii) "My Father is greater than all."
[The Bible, John 10:29]
(iii) "…I cast out devils by the Spirit of God…."
[The Bible, Mathew 12:28]
(iv) "…I with the finger of God cast out devils…."
[The Bible, Luke 11:20]
(v) "I can of mine own self do nothing: as I hear, I judge: and my judgement is just; because I seek not my own will, but the will of the Father which hath sent me."
[The Bible, John 5:30]
2. The Mission of Jesus Christ (pbuh) – to Fulfill the Law
Jesus (pbuh) never claimed divinity for himself. He clearly announced the nature of his mission. Jesus (pbuh) was sent by God to confirm the previous Judaic law. This is clearly evident in the following statements attributed to Jesus (pbuh) in the Gospel of Mathew:
"Think not that I am come to destroy the law, or the Prophets: I am not come to destroy, but to fulfil. For verily I say unto you, Till heaven and earth pass, one jot or one tittle shall in no wise pass from the law, till all be fulfilled.
"Whosoever therefore shall break one of these least commandments, and shall teach men so, he shall be called the least in the kingdom of heaven; but whosoever shall do and teach them, the same shall be called great in the kingdom of heaven."
"For I say unto you, That except your righteousness shall exceed the righteousness of the scribes and Pharisees, ye shall in no case enter into the kingdom of heaven."
[The Bible, Mathew 5:17-20]
3. God Sent Jesus' (pbuh)
The Bible mentions the prophetic nature of Jesus (pbuh) mission in the following verses:
(i)"… and the word which ye hear is not mine, but the Father’s which sent me."
[The Bible, John 14:24]
(ii)"And this is life eternal, that they might know thee the only true God, and Jesus Christ, whom thou has sent."
[The Bible, John 17:3]
4. Jesus Refuted even the Remotest Suggestion of his Divinity
Consider the following incident mentioned in the Bible:
"And behold, one came and said unto him, ‘Good Master, what good thing shall I do, that I may have eternal life?’
And he said unto him, ‘Why callest thou me good? There is none good but one, that is, God: but if thou wilt enter into life, keep the commandments.’ "
[The Bible, Mathew 19:16-17]
Jesus (pbuh) did not say that to have the eternal life of paradise, man should believe in him as Almighty God or worship him as God, or believe that Jesus (pbuh) would die for his sins. On the contrary he said that the path to salvation was through keeping the commandments. It is indeed striking to note the difference between the words of Jesus Christ (pbuh) and the Christian dogma of salvation through the sacrifice of Jesus (pbuh).
5. Jesus (pbuh) of Nazareth – a Man Approved of God
The following statement from the Bible supports the Islamic belief that Jesus (pbuh) was a prophet of God.
"Ye men of Israel, hear these words; Jesus of Nazareth, a man approved of God among you by miracles and wonders and signs, which God did by him in the midst of you, as ye yourselves also know."
[The Bible, Acts 2:22]
6. The First Commandment is that God is One
The Bible does not support the Christian belief in trinity at all. One of the scribes once asked Jesus (pbuh) as to which was the first commandment of all, to which Jesus (pbuh) merely repeated what Moses (pbuh) had said earlier:
"Shama Israelu Adonai Ila Hayno Adonai Ikhad."
This is a Hebrew quotation, which means:
"Hear, O Israel; The Lord our God is one Lord."
[The Bible, Mark 12:29]
It is striking that the basic teachings of the Church such as Trinity and vicarious atonement find no mention in the Bible. In fact, various verses of the Bible point to Jesus’ (pbuh) actual mission, which was to fulfill the law revealed to Prophet Moses (pbuh). Indeed Jesus (pbuh) rejected any suggestions that attributed divinity to him, and explained his miracles as the power of the One True God.
Jesus (pbuh) thus reiterated the message of monotheism that was given by all earlier prophets of Almighty God.
NOTE: All quotations of the Bible are taken from the King James Version.

III) Concept of God in Testament:

1. God is One
The following verse from the book of Deuteronomy contains an exhortation from Moses (pbuh):
"Shama Israelu Adonai Ila Hayno Adna Ikhad".
It is a Hebrew quotation which means:
"Hear, O Israel: The Lord our God is one Lord"
[The Bible, Deuteronomy 6:4]
2. Unity of God in the Book of Isaiah
The following verses are from the Book of Isaiah:
(i) "I, even I, am the Lord; and beside me there is no saviour."
[The Bible, Isaiah 43:11]
(ii) "I am Lord, and there is none else, there is no God besides me."
[The Bible, Isaiah 45:5]
(iii) "I am God, and there is none else; I am God, and there is none like me."
[The Bible, Isaiah 46:9]
3. Old Testament condemns idol worship
(i) Old Testament condemns idol worship in the following verses:
"Thou shalt have no other gods before me."
"Thou shalt not make unto thee any graven image, or any likeness of anything that is in heaven above, or that is in the earth beneath, or that is in the water under the earth:"
"Thou shalt not bow down thyself to them, nor serve them: for I the Lord thy God am a jealous God."
[The Bible, Exodus 20:3-5]
(ii) A similar message is repeated in the book of Deuteronomy:
"Thou shalt have none other gods before me."
"Thou shalt not make thee any graven image, or any likeness of anything that is in heaven above, or that in the earth beneath, or that is in the water beneath the earth."
"Thou shalt not bow down thyself unto them, nor serve them; for I the Lord thy God am a jealous God."
[The Bible, Deuteronomy 5:7-9

Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him)

Muhammad ibn Abdullah ibn Abdul Muttalib
Born 570 C.E. (Christian Era); died 633 C.E.

The following is based on books, manuscripts, texts and actual eyewitness accounts, too numerous to mention herein, preserved in original form throughout the centuries by both Muslims and non-Muslims.

Many people today are discussing Prophet Muhammad, may Allah exalt his mention. Who was he exactly? What did he teach? Why was he loved so much by some and hated so much by others? Did he live up to his claims? Was he a holy man? Was he a prophet of God? What is the truth about this man?You be the judge.
Here are the facts as narrated by thousands of people, many of whom knew him personally.
*He was born to a noble tribe to the lineage of the leaders of Makkah.
*His name comes from the Arabic root "hamd" and literally means "praised one." People at his time and until this very moment, praise him many times per day, may Allah exalt his mention.
*He never fell into the common practice of his tribesmen to worship statues, idols or man-made "gods."
*He believed that God was truly One God, and as such, He was to be worshipped alone, without any other "gods" beside Him.
*He held the Name of God in the highest of reverence and never took God's Name in vain or for any vain glorious purpose.
*He despised false worship and all of the complexities and degradation to which it leads.
*He adhered to the Commandments of Almighty God, just as prophets of old had done in the past.
*He never committed adultery, and he forbade others from doing it.
*He forbade usury and interest on money lending, as Jesus, may Allah exalt his mention, had done centuries before him.
*He never gambled and did not allow it.
*He never drank alcohol or strong drink; even though it was a very normal thing for people of his time and place.
*He did not engage in gossip and used to turn away from hearing anything related to it.
*He fasted for days at a time to be closer to Almighty God and away from the narrowness of worldly attractions.
*He taught that Jesus, may Allah exalt his mention, was the immaculate conception and miracle birth of Mary, and that she was among the best creation of Almighty God.
*He insisted even to the Jews of Medina, that Jesus, may Allah exalt his mention, was the Messiah, the Christ, the one predicted to come in their Torah (Old Testament).
*He said Jesus, may Allah exalt his mention, did many miracles by the permission of Almighty God, curing the lepers, restoring sight to the blind and even bringing a dead man back to life.
*He stated clearly that Jesus, may Allah exalt his mention, was not dead, rather Almighty God had raised him up.
*He foretold that Jesus, may Allah exalt his mention, is going to return again in the Last Days to lead the true believers in a victory over the evil and unrighteous people, and he will destroy the Anti-Christ.
*He commanded the payment of charity to the poor and he was the defender and protector of widows, orphans and the wayfarers.
*He ordered people to unite with their families and honor the ties of kinship and he restored relationships between family members.
*He required his followers to engage only in lawful marriage relationships with women, and forbade sex outside of Almighty God's Ordinance.
*He insisted on giving women their proper rights, dowries, inheritance and property.
*His patience and humble attitude were exemplary and all who knew him had to admit to these virtues.
A. He never lied, never broke a trust never bore false witness, and he was famous with all the tribes in Makkah and was known as: "The Truthful" (Al-Ameen).
B. He never once engaged in sex outside of marriage, nor did he ever approve of it, even though it was very common at the time.
C. His only relationships with women were in legitimate, contractual marriages with proper witnesses according to law.
D. His relationship to Ayesha was only that of marriage. Their relationship is described in every detail by Ayesha herself in the most loving and respectful manner as a match truly made in heaven. Ayesha is considered as one of the highest scholars of Islam and lived out her entire life only having been married to Muhammad, may Allah exalt his mention. She never desired any other man, nor did she ever utter a single negative statement against Muhammad, may Allah exalt his mention.
E. He forbade any killing until the orders came from Allah. Even then the limits were clearly spelled out and only those engaged in active combat against the Muslims or Islam were to be fought in combat. And even then, only according to very strict rules from Allah.
F. Killing any innocent life was forbidden.
G. There was no genocide of Jews. He offered mutual protection and forgiveness to the Jews even after they broke their covenants with him many times. They were not attacked until it was clearly proven they were traitors during time of war and tried to bring down the prophet, may Allah exalt his mention, and the Muslims at any cost. Retaliation was only to those Jews who had turned traitor and not others.
H. Slaves were common in those days for all nations and tribes. It was Islam that encouraged freeing of the slaves and the great reward from Allah for those who did so. Prophet, may Allah exalt his mention, gave the example of this by freeing slaves and encouraging all of his followers to do the same. Examples include his own servant (who was actually considered like a son to him) Zaid ibn Al Haritha and Bilal the slave who was bought by Abu Bakr only for the purpose of freeing him.
I. While there were many attempts of assassination made on Muhammad, may Allah exalt his mention, (most famous was the night that Ali took his place in bed while he and Abu Bakr escaped to Madinah), he did not allow his companions to slaughter any of those who had been involved in these attempts. Proof for this is when they entered Makkah triumphantly and his first words were to command his followers not to harm such and such tribes and so and so families. This was one of the most famous of his acts of forgiveness and humbleness.
J. Military combat was forbidden for the first thirteen years of prophethood. The desert Arabs did not need anyone to tell them how to fight or do combat. They were experts in this area and held feuds amongst tribes that lasted for decades. It was not until the proper method of warfare was instituted by Allah in the Quran, with proper rights and limitations according His Commandments, that any retaliation or combat was sanctioned. Orders from Allah made it clear who was to be attacked, how and when and to what extent fighting could take place.
K. Destruction of infrastructures is absolutely forbidden except when it is ordained by Allah in certain instances and then only according to His Commands.
L. Cursing and invoking evil actually came to the prophet, may Allah exalt his mention, from his enemies, while he would be praying for their guidance. Classic example is that of his journey to At-Taif where the leaders would not even hear him out nor offer so much as the normal courtesy called for and instead they set the children of the street against him, throwing rocks and stones at him until his body was bleeding so much, blood filled his sandals. He was offered revenge by the angel Gabriel, if he would give the command, Allah would cause the surrounding mountains to fall down upon them destroying them all. Instead of cursing them or asking for their destruction, he prayed for them to be guided to worship their Lord alone, without any partners.
M. Prophet Muhammad, may Allah exalt his mention, claimed every person who is born is born in a state of ISLAM (submission to God), as a Muslim (MU-Islam means; "one who does ISLAM" i.e.; submits to God's Will and obeys His Commandments). Then as they grow older they begin to distort their faith according to the influence of the prevailing society and their own prejudices.
N. Muhammad, may Allah exalt his mention, taught his followers to believe in the God of Adam, Noah, Abraham, Jacob, Moses, David, Solomon and Jesus, peace be upon them all, and to believe in them as true prophets, messengers and slaves of Almighty Allah. He insisted on ranking all the prophets up at the highest level without any distinction between them.
O. He also taught the Torah (Old Testament), Zaboor (Psalms) and Injeel (Gospel or New Testament) were originally from the very same source as the Quran, from Allah.
P. He prophesied and foretold of events to come and they happened as he had said. He even predicted something from the past that would come true in the future, and it has.
The Quran states pharaoh was drowned in the Red Sea while chasing after Moses and Allah said He would preserve Pharaoh as a sign for the future. Dr. Maurice Bucaille in his book, "Bible, Quran and Science" makes it clear this has happened and the very person of Pharaoh has been discovered in Egypt and is now on display for all to see.
This event took place thousands of years before Muhammad, may Allah exalt his mention, and it came true in the last few decades, many centuries after his death.

the opinions of non-muslims about Mohammad apostle Allah

There has been more written about the prophet Muhammad, may Allah exalt his mention, than any other person on earth. He has been praised very high even by famous non-Muslims for centuries. One of the first examples we quote from is from the Encyclopedia Britannica, as it confirms (regarding Muhammad)”
". . . a mass of detail in the early sources shows that he was an honest and upright man who had gained the respect and loyalty of others who were likewise honest and upright men." (Vol. 12)
Another impressive tribute to Muhammad, may Allah exalt his mention is in the very well written work of Michael H. Hart, "The 100: A Ranking of the Most Influential Persons in History." He states that the most influential person in all history was Muhammad, may Allah exalt his mention, with Jesus second. Examine his actual words:

"My choice of Muhammad to lead the list of the world's most influential persons may surprise some readers and may be questioned by others, but he was the only man in history who was supremely successful on both the religious and secular level."
Michael H. Hart, THE 100: A RANKING OF THE MOST INFLUENTIAL PERSONS IN HISTORY, New York: Hart Publishing Company, Inc., 1978, page. 33.
While we are reviewing statements from famous non-Muslims about Prophet Muhammad, may Allah exalt his mention, consider this:
"Philosopher, orator, apostle, legislator, warrior, conqueror of ideas, restorer of rational dogmas, of a cult without images; the founder of twenty terrestrial empires and of one spiritual empire, that is Muhammad. As regards all standards by which human greatness may be measured, we may well ask, is there any man greater than he?"
Lamartine, HISTOIRE DE LA TURQUIE, Paris, 1854, Vol. II, pp. 276-277.
George Bernard Shaw, a famous writer and non-Muslim says:
"He must be called the Savior of Humanity. I believe that if a man like him were to assume the dictatorship of the modern world, he would succeed in solving its problems in a way that would bring it much needed peace and happiness."
(The Genuine Islam, Singapore, Vol. 1, No. 8, 1936)
K.S. Ramakrishna Rao, an Indian (Hindu) professor of Philosophy, in his booklet "Muhammad the Prophet of Islam" calls him the "perfect model for human life." Professor Ramakrishna Rao explains his point by saying:
"The personality of Muhammad, it is most difficult to get into the whole truth of it. Only a glimpse of it I can catch. What a dramatic succession of picturesque scenes. There is Muhammad the Prophet. There is Muhammad the Warrior; Muhammad the Businessman; Muhammad the Statesman; Muhammad the Orator; Muhammad the Reformer; Muhammad the Refuge of Orphans; Muhammad the Protector of Slaves; Muhammad the Emancipator of Women; Muhammad the Judge; Muhammad the Saint. All in all these magnificent roles, in all these departments of human activities, he is alike a hero."
Mahatma Gandhi, speaking on the character of Muhammad, may Allah exalt his mention, says in 'YOUNG INDIA':
"I wanted to know the best of one who holds today undisputed sway over the hearts of millions of mankind... I became more than convinced that it was not the sword that won a place for Islam in those days in the scheme of life. It was the rigid simplicity, the utter self-effacement of the Prophet, the scrupulous regard for his pledges, his intense devotion to his friends and followers, his intrepidity, his fearlessness, his absolute trust in God and in his own mission. These and not the sword carried everything before them and surmounted every obstacle. When I closed the 2nd volume (of the Prophet's biography), I was sorry there was not more for me to read of the great life."
Thomas Carlyle in his 'Heroes and Hero Worship', was simply amazed as to:
"How one man single handedly, could weld warring tribes and wandering Bedouins into a most powerful and civilized nation in less than two decades."
Diwan Chand Sharma wrote in "The Prophets of the East":
"Muhammad was the soul of kindness, and his influence was felt and never forgotten by those around him"
(D.C. Sharma, The Prophets of the East, Calcutta, 1935, pp. 12)
Muhammad, may Allah exalt his mention, was nothing more or less than a human being, but he was a man with a noble mission, which was to unite humanity on the worship of ONE and ONLY ONE GOD and to teach them the way to honest and upright living based on the commands of God. He always described himself as, 'A Slave and Messenger of God' and so indeed every action of his proclaimed to be.
Speaking on the aspect of equality before God in Islam, the famous poetess of India, Sarojini Naidu says:
"It was the first religion that preached and practiced democracy; for, in the mosque, when the call for prayer is sounded and worshippers are gathered together, the democracy of Islam is embodied five times a day when the peasant and king kneel side by side and proclaim: 'God Alone is Great'... I have been struck over and over again by this indivisible unity of Islam that makes man instinctively a brother."
(S. Naidu, Ideals of Islam, vide Speeches & Writings, Madras, 1918, p. 169)
In the words of Professor Hurgronje:
"The league of nations founded by the prophet of Islam put the principle of international unity and human brotherhood on such universal foundations as to show candle to other nations." He continues, "the fact is that no nation of the world can show a parallel to what Islam has done towards the realization of the idea of the League of Nations."
Edward Gibbon and Simon Ockley, on the profession of ISLAM, writes in "History of the Saracen Empires":
"I BELIEVE IN ONE GOD, AND MAHOMET, AN APOSTLE OF GOD' is the simple and invariable profession of Islam. The intellectual image of the Deity has never been degraded by any visible idol; the honor of the Prophet have never transgressed the measure of human virtues; and his living precepts have restrained the gratitude of his disciples within the bounds of reason and religion."
(History of the Saracen Empires, London, 1870, p. 54)
Wolfgang Goethe, perhaps the greatest European poet ever, wrote about Prophet Muhammad, may Allah exalt his mention. He said:
"He is a prophet and not a poet and therefore his Koran is to be seen as Divine Law and not as a book of a human being, made for education or entertainment."
(Noten und Abhandlungen zum Weststlichen Dvan, WA I, 7, 32)
People do not hesitate to raise to divinity and even make 'gods' out of other individuals whose lives and missions have been lost in legend. Historically speaking, none of these legends achieved even a fraction of what Muhammad, may Allah exalt his mention, accomplished. And all his striving was for the sole purpose of uniting mankind for the worship of One God on the codes of moral excellence. Muhammad, may Allah exalt his mention, or his followers never at any time claimed that he was a son of God or the God-incarnate or a man with divinity – but he always was and is even today considered as only a Messenger chosen by God.
Today after a lapse of fourteen centuries, the life and teachings of Muhammad, may Allah exalt his mention, have survived without the slightest loss, alteration or interpolation. They offer the same undying hope for treating mankind's many ills, which they did when he was alive. This is not a claim of Muhammad’s, may Allah exalt his mention, followers, but the inescapable conclusion forced upon by a critical and unbiased history.
Now it is up to you.

Sir William Muir
Muhammed brought an end to idol worship. He preached monotheism and infinite Mercy of God, human brotherhood, care of orphan, emancipation of slaves, forbidding of wine - No religion achieved as much success as Islam did.
It is good that you really wish to know about Mohammad. However it is not prudent of people like me to comment on his greatness. There have been plenty of even non-muslim scholars, critics, historians who have opined affirmatively about Mohammad. If you do not intend to believe in my submission then only option left is to pay attention to the great critics, historians and scholars.

"I BELIEVE IN ONE GOD, AND MAHOMET [Muhammad], AN APOSTLE OF GOD' is the simple and invariable profession of Islam. The intellectual image of the Deity has never been degraded by any visible idol; the honor of the Prophet have never transgressed the measure of human virtues; and his living precepts have restrained the gratitude of his disciples within the bounds of reason and religion."--[History of the Saracen Empires, London, 1870, p. 54]

“His readiness to undergo persecutions for his beliefs, the high moral character of the men who believed in him and looked up to him as leader, and the greatness of his ultimate achievement all argue his fundamental integrity. To suppose Muhammad an impostor raises more problems than it solves. Moreover, none of the great figures of history is so poorly appreciated in the West as Muhammad.” [W. Montgomery, Mohammad at Mecca, Oxford, 1953, p. 52.]

The founder of Islam has been characterised as,
" The man who, of all men, exercised the greatest influence upon the human race."--[History of the Intellectual Developement of Europe, by DRAPER, VOL.I, pg-239]

"As a matter of fact, Mohammad reverenced knowledge. His own words are eloquent testimony to that. Here are some of his sayings :

* One word of knowledge is of more value than the reciting of hundred prayers,
* The ink of sages is more precious than the BLOOD OF MARTYRS,
* God has created nothing better than reason. "--

The New World of Islam, by LOTHROP STODDARD,A.M, PhD[HARV],Chapman And Hall Ltd-1922, London, pg-28]

"MOHAMMED WAS THE MOST SUCCESSFUL OF ALL RELIGIOUS PERSONALITIES." Encyclopedia Britannica, 11th Edition

Can you just imagine why a man of such an stature and numerous followers did not declare himself as a GOD ? Today you can find thousands of gods & god-men with a few fan following. Why then Mohammad sacrificed his whole life for the unity of God ?

The Knowledgeable Struggle Against Self

what desire of The Knowledgeable which make them nearer to Allah Glory be to him?

So, from the very beginning, they took desires and wishes out from their souls and made their only desire to their God, The Holy. As it was said: (I had disunited desires, but I gathered them since I set my eye on You.). If a heedless has a desire for women or money or food or any wish, that, who knew God doesn’t peek here or there for a single moment. God informed (witnessed) our sir, the messenger of God with all the beauties from the throne, the heavens and the chair, though; He praised him as He said:

"The sight (of Prophet Muhammad) turned not aside (right or left), nor it transgressed beyond (the) limit (ordained for it)." (Surat Al-Nagm, verse 17)
He never turned here or there.
After God’s beauty and perfection, does he look at anything? Is there anything attracts the sight, after God’s beauties and perfections? And so, that, who sees the prophet, does he want to see something else? As it was said (I had disunited desires, but I gathered them since I set my eye on You. I left people, their lives and their religion occupied by You, my religion and my life.)
That, who is really and truly concerned by God, never turns to something else for a twinkling of an eye or less. Those are the true men, God said about them:
"Be afraid of Allah, and be with those who are true (in words and deeds)." (Surat Al-Tawba, verse 119)
Why? At least to be with them. That, who loved people will be gathered with them at the Day of Judgment. Or you may be like them, if you have the intention and the firm will. So you have the choice, to be with them, or to be like them.

what should we inherit from the prophet peace be upon him?

Prophecy Heredity

That, who is like them, inherits, what does he inherit? He will inherit knowledge, light, enlightenment, revelation, inspiration and bounties, from the inheritance of the prophet, as he said: "We bequeath knowledge and light."   I.e. takes his share from knowledge and light.
What’s the knowledge, the prophet left?
They are the knowledge of the Quran, the knowledge of facts, the inspiration, the bounties, the enlightenment and the revelation.
Imam Abu Al-Aza’im said about this knowledge:
"If I tell people about some of my knowledge, I will set the fire of love in the whole world. I will fire the hearts with the love of that, who decorated all seekers."
He also says: "If the far people tasted some of my drinks, they will leave argument and burn their material (physical) knowledge."
Knowledge Imam Ali, said about it: "If I interpret Al-Fateha chapter (the first chapter of the Quran) as I know, you will load seventy camels."
These are endless kinds of knowledge, where did they come from?
This is inheritance from the messenger of God not a study. Because inheritance knowledge differs from the studied knowledge.
Studied knowledge, someone may spend all his lifetime without achieving the extreme, only in one field of it, as we see.
But the inheritance knowledge, someone can collect what he wants from it in less than the twinkling of an eye, if they opened the door and let him in, dressed him like their beloved and beautified him like them, and then the limitless treasures of The Most High and The Granter’s bounties come to him.
"And Allah provides without measure to whom He wills." (Surat Al-Nur, verse 38)
The prophet’s companions lived in and with this knowledge.
People say, according to the most modern educational theory, in the ministry of education and high education, that: We direct the student to get the piece of information himself; this is the Quranic (Islamic) theory, our sir, the messenger of God (May the blessings and peace of Allah be upon him) used to indicate them and they learn, i.e. from the highest world. What Islam (Muslims) believes?

1. Muslims believe in One God "Allah", Supreme and Eternal, Infinite and Mighty, Merciful and Compassionate, Creator and Provider.
2- A Muslim believes in the Day of Judgement. This world will come to an end someday, and the dead will rise to stand for their final and fair trial. People with good records will be generously rewarded and warmly welcomed to the Heaven of Allah, and those with bad records will be punished and cast into Hell.
3. A Muslim believes in all the scriptures and revelations of Allah. They were the guiding light which the messengers received to show their respective peoples the Right Path of Allah. In the Qur'an (Muslims holy book), special reference is made to the books of Abraham, Moses, David and Jesus. But long before the revelation of the Qur'an to Muhammad, some of those books and revelations were lost or corrupted. The only authentic and complete book of Allah in existence today is the Qur'an.
4- Muslims believe in a chain of prophets starting with Adam and including Noah, Abraham, Ishmael. Isaac, Jacob, Joseph, Job, Moses, Aaron, David, Solomon, Elias, Jonah, John the Baptist, and Jesus, peace he upon them.Muslims believe Christianity is an extension of Judaism, and Islam is an extension of Christianity.
Muslims believe in all messengers of Allah without any discrimination among them. Every known nation had a warner or messenger from Allah who were chosen by Allah to teach mankind and deliver His Divine message. But God's final message to man, a reconfirmation of the eternal message and a summing-up of all that has gone before was revealed to the Prophet Muhammad through the Angel Gabriel.
Around 600 years later, Muhammad was sent as the last messenger to bring to all of mankind the original message of monotheism. As a test to believers, God changed certain commands and rituals, which is why there are some differences in obligations and prohibitions amongst Jews, Christians, and Muslims.

Although Muslims believe in Jesus (and that the Virgin Mary was imbued with the spirit - "ruh" - of God) and even the second coming of Jesus, Muslims disagree with the idea that Jesus is the son of God or is God himself.

Most Christian scholars believe that the Bible itself never says Jesus claimed to be God or the son of God, so for Muslims it makes sense to believe in Jesus as a great Messenger. Muslims honor all the messengers and are taught to live in peace. After all, the meaning of the word Islam is "peace."

5. A Muslim believes in the Day of Judgement. This world will come to an end someday, and the dead will rise to stand for their final and fair trial. People with good records will be generously rewarded and warmly welcomed to the Heaven of Allah, and those with bad records will be punished and cast into Hell.

6. A Muslim believes in the timeless knowledge of Allah and in His power to design and execute His plans, and that nothing could happen in His Kingdom against His Will. His knowledge and power are in action at all times and in full command over His creation. He is wise and merciful, and whatever He does must have a meaningful purpose. If this is established in our minds and hearts, we should accept with good faith all that He does, although we may fail to

Degrees of asking forgiveness

:h7op (12):
Degrees of asking forgiveness
The first degree:
Asking forgiveness by the tongue
The second degree:
Asking forgiveness by the heart
The third degree :
Asking forgiveness by the heart and the tongue. You should know that the reality of perfect asking for forgiveness that requires forgiveness is what is accompanied by regret by the heart because of the sin and that have no insistence
:h7op (54):

Asking for forgiveness

Asking for forgiveness
A supplicant who seeks response should keep after repentance to all types of asking for forgiveness
Muslim narrated after Al-Agharr Al-Mazney that the prophet (May the blessings and peace of Allah be upon him) said: "I ask forgiveness from Allah one hundred times in the day." Attermedhy narrated raising it to the prophet: "Whoever keeps to asking for forgiveness, Allah will grant him dispelling from any grieve, a way out of every distress and endow him subsistence from where he never expects

Why do Muslims go around Ka’ba, kiss stones and throw them? Aren’t these pagan rituals?

God ordered Muslims to circumambulate Ka'ba when doing the rituals of Hajj, God says:
"And (again) circumambulate the Ancient House (Ka'ba)." Surat Al-Hajj, Verse 29.
This is done for a great lesson mentioned in the book of God and clarified by the apostle of God (Blessings and peace of Allah be upon him). When God told the angels that He is going to create Adam and make him His successor on earth, they showed that they are dissatisfied to this, God says:
"Behold, your Lord said to the angels: I will create a vicegerent on earth. They said: Wilt Your place therein one who will make mischief therein and shed blood? Whilst we do celebrate Your praises and glorify Your holy (name)? He said: I know what you know not. "Surat Al-Bakara, Verse 30.
Then they regretted as they hastily showed their dissatisfaction, they asked God for repentance, God set Al-Bayt Al-Ma'moor (inhabited house) and ordered them to go round it seven times to accept their repentance, when they finished their circumambulation and He repented upon them, He ordered them to descend to the earth and build a house for His people, if they do sins as angels did, they come to it and circumambulate it as they did and then He forgives them as He forgave angels, then angels built Ka'ba about which God says:
"The first House (of worship) appointed for men was that at Bakka (Mecca): Full of blessing and of guidance for all kinds of beings."
 Surat Ala-Imran, Verse 96.
When Adam did the sin and was descended from paradise, he regretted his disobedience to His God, then Gabriel came to him and ordered him to go to Mecca where the sacred house that was built by angels and circumambulate it. Adam walked from India where he was descended to the place of Ka'ba and he circumambulated it saying: (O Allah, You know my secret and my openness so accept my apology, You know what is inside my soul so forgive my sin, O Allah, I beg You a belief touches my heart so I never want to delay what You hastened nor hasten what You delayed, verily, over all things you have power.) God revealed to him: 'O Adam, you invoked Us by supplications and We accepted you, anyone from your offspring comes to this house and circumambulates it and invoked by these supplications We forgive his sins, take away poverty from between his eyes, make his richness inside his heart and trade for him better than any trader. 'This was the principle of the legislation of circumambulating Ka'ba as a duty and a pillar of performing hajj.
Circumambulation is also the worship of all stars and planets in the universe, God says:
"All (the celestial bodies) swim along, each in its rounded course." Surat Al-Ambeyaa, Verse 33.
Man imitates planets in his circumambulation as they go round the star which is their origin.
As for throwing the pebbles, this is to perpetuate Prophet Abraham, his son prophet Ishmael and his wife Hagar, Ishmael's mother. When God ordered him in his dream to slaughter his son Ishmael and his dream was repeated, he called his son and said to him as in the Koran:
"O my son! I see in vision that I offer you in sacrifice: Now see what is your view? (The son) said: O my father! Do as you are commanded: you will find me, if Allah so wills one practicing patience and constancy. "
Surat Assaffat, Verse 102.
They took a knife and a rope pretending they were going to Mina to collect firewood, Satan came to Abraham to get him not to fulfill God's order, he said to him: O Abraham, you are killing your only son for a dream? Abraham took pebbles from the ground and threw him so he went away from him, then he went to his son Ishmael and said to him: O Ishmael, you believe what your father saw in his dream? It might be a dream from Satan, talk to him and don't obey him, he did the same as his father did, he took some pebbles and threw him so he went away from him, then he went to Hagar and said to her : O Hagar, do you know where Abraham and your son Ishmael gone? He took him to slaughter him though he just saw this in his dream and he went far away so you can't stop him, go to him quickly and stop him, she also took pebbles from the ground and threw him.
When it was assured that they all surrendered to the order of God, God ransomed the boy by a momentous sacrifice Gabriel got from the heavens, God says:
"So when they had both submitted their wills (to Allah), and he had laid him prostrate on his forehead (for sacrifice). We called out to him: O Abraham. You have already fulfilled the vision, thus indeed do We reward those who do right. For this was obviously a trial. And We ransomed him with a momentous sacrifice: "Surat Assaffat, Verses 103, 104, 105, 106, 107.
God eternized their reminiscence, He made among the rituals of Hajj to threw Satan at the three places where Abraham, Ishmael and Hagar threw him.
Where is this from paganism? Paganism is to worship stones whereas Hajj is to worship The One and The Almighty Lord.

The greatest reward comes with the greatest trial

And for Allah is the Highest example.
 (Surah Nahl:60)

So when Allah Subhaanahu wa Ta'ala , in His Infinite Wisdom, tests us with a situation that we think is difficult or takes away something that in our mind was good for us, we need to remember that perhaps it may not be so. Perhaps if we had continued in our way, it might have been harmful for us and whatever Allah decreed for us is actually better for us, for He is All-Wise and All-Knowing. Allah says:

'...and it may be that you dislike a thing which is good for you and that you like a thing which is bad for you. Allah knows but you do not know.'
 (Surah Baqarah: 216)

Al-Hasan al-Basri said: 'Do not resent the calamities that come and the disasters that occur, for perhaps in something that you dislike will be your salvation, and perhaps in something that you prefer will be your doom.'

Remember that we are dealing with the One who is Arham ar-Raahimeen, the Most Merciful of all that show mercy. All the mercy that we have in this world from Adam (Alaiyhi Salaam) to the Day of Judgment is only one hundredth of the Mercy of the Most Merciful. And He is Most Wise. He knows and we don't know.

So have faith in Him and trust in Him and although, sometimes we may not understand the reason behind certain things, know that as long as you obey Him, whatever He will do for you is, in fact for your betterment.

So if Allah didn't give you that big house, or that nice car you wanted or that big raise you were hoping for, know in your mind and believe in your heart that it is actually better for you. Who knows.....maybe that big house, that car or that money would have become a source of 'fitnah' (test) for you....Perhaps you would have become arrogant and conceited because of it, and Allah saved you from it. Because, you know that the Prophet (sal Allaahu Alaiyhi wa Sallam) said: 'Any one in whose heart is even a mustard seed's worth of pride will not enter Paradise.' (Muslim)

And if you have been sick and suffering, sure it is not easy. But again, know in your mind and believe in your heart that it is indeed better for you. For, if you bear patiently, it will be a means of expiation for your sins and a source of great reward. The Prophet (sal Allaahu Alaiyhi wa Sallam) said: 'There is nothing that befalls a believer, not even a thorn that pricks him, but Allah will record one good deed for him and will remove one bad deed from him.' (Muslim)

And: 'On the Day of Resurrection, when people who had suffered affliction are given their reward, those who were healthy will wish their skins had been cut to pieces with scissors when they were in the world (when they see the immense rewards for the afflictions they suffered).' (Tirmidhi-Saheeh by al-Albaani)

If Allah took away a dear, loved one, believe, from the bottom of your heart, that surely this was better. For, you never know, had the one who passed away lived longer, may be his life would have been one of sins and disobedience and Allah, out of His Mercy, took him before that....in a state of Imaan.

And if life has been difficult, worries surround you and calamities after calamities befall you, hear the good news from the Prophet (Sal Allaahu Alaiyhi wa Sallam): 'Trials will continue to befall the believing man and woman, with regard to themselves, their children and their wealth, until they meet Allah with no sin on them.' (Tirmidhi-- saheeh by al-Albaani)

Subhaan Allah! No sin?! And what is it from this world that you wouldn't give up, just to meet Allah with no sin??!!

Remember that the One Who is testing you is the Most Wise, the Most Merciful and the Most Loving.....and that He did not send this calamity in order to destroy you....or cause you pain or finish you off. Rather, He is checking on you, testing your patience, acceptance and faith; it is so that He may hear your du'a and supplication, so that He may see you standing before Him....seeking His protection....filled with humility and complaining to Him, alone. The difficulties you face is a reminder for you to return to Allah and ask for forgiveness from Him. Who knows... if He didn't give you the difficulty, maybe you would have strayed from Him far, far away....

Ibn Taymiyah said: 'A calamity that makes you turn to Allah is better for you than a blessing which makes you forget the remembrance of Allah.' Thus in our times of trouble, when we go through pain and suffering and in our times of loss, we need to trust Allah. We need to keep in mind that as long as we fear Him and try our best to obey Him, He will never do us wrong. He will protect us and guide us and do the best for us, no matter what the situation apparently looks like. Allaah says in a hadeeth Qudsi:

'I am as my slave thinks of me and I am with him whenever he remembers me.' (Agreed Upon).

It is actually a sign of our weakness and shortsightedness, that we tend to focus on the calamities themselves, without paying much attention to the benefits that they may bring. We also forget to look at all other innumerable blessings that we enjoy and see around us.

Our minds, our logic and our senses cannot even begin to fathom the Wisdom, the Knowledge and the Hikmah behind Allaah's decisions and verdicts. It is He who is the Wise....it is He who is the Just and it is He who is the Knower of the unseen. If we trust in Allaah, He will suffice and it is He who will grant us goodness in any situation and under any circumstances.

'And when someone puts all his trust in Allah, He will be enough for him.' (Surah at-Talaaq:3)

The Prophet (sal Allaahu Alaiyhi wa Sallam) said: 'If you put your trust completely in Allah, He will arrange for your sustenance in the same way as He provides for the birds. They go out in the morning with their stomachs empty and return filled in the evening.' (Tirmidhi-saheeh).

So trust Him....for, there is much reward in trusting Him.....it is Jannah (Paradise). And there is sin in distrusting Him. Calamities and disasters are a test, and they are a sign of Allaah's love for a person. They are like medicine: even though it is bitter, yet, in spite of its bitterness you still give it to the one whom you love....

'The greatest reward comes with the greatest trial. When Allaah loves a people He tests them. Whoever accepts that wins His pleasure but whoever is discontent with that earns His wrath.' (Saheeh al-Tirmidhi)

spread by sword of intellect and convincing arguments

 Dr. Joseph Adam Pearson.

Dr.Joseph Adam Pearson rightly says, ’People who worry that nuclear weaponry willone day fall in the hands of the Arabs, fail to realize that the Islamic bombhas been dropped already, it fell the day MUHAMMED (pbuh) was born’

It is a common misconception with some non-Muslims that Islam would not have millions of adherents all over the world, if it had not been spread by the use of force.

The following points will make it clear, that far from being spread by the sword, it was the inherent force of truth, reason and logic that was responsible for the rapid spread of Islam.

Islam has always given respect and freedom of religion to all faiths. Freedom of religion is ordained in the Quran itself:

“There shall be no compulsion in [acceptance of] the religion. The right course has become clear from the wrong.” (Quran 2:256)

The noted historian De Lacy O’Leary wrote:[1] “History makes it clear however, that the legend of fanatical Muslims sweeping through the world and forcing Islam at the point of the sword upon conquered races is one of the most fantastically absurd myths that historians have ever repeated.”

The famous historian, Thomas Carlyle, in his book Heroes and Hero worship, refers to this misconception about the spread of Islam: “The sword indeed, but where will you get your sword? Every new opinion, at its starting is precisely in a minority of one; in one man’s head alone. There it dwells as yet. One man alone of the whole world believes it, there is one man against all men. That he takes a sword and tries to propagate with that will do little for him. You must get your sword! On the whole, a thing will propagate itself as it can.”

If Islam was spread by the sword, it was the sword of intellect and convincing arguments. It is this sword that conquers the hearts and minds of people. The Quran says in this connection:

“Invite to the way of your Lord with wisdom and good instruction, and argue with them in a way that is best.” (Quran 16:125)

The facts speak for themselves
• Indonesia is the country that has the largest number of Muslims in the world, and the majority of people in Malaysia are Muslims. But, no Muslim army ever went to Indonesia or Malaysia. It is an established historical fact that Indonesia entered Islam not due to war, but because of its moral message. Despite the disappearance of Islamic government from many regions once ruled by it, their original inhabitants have remained Muslims. Moreover, they carried the message of truth, inviting others to it as well, and in so doing endured harm, affliction and oppression. The same can be said for those in the regions of Syria and Jordan, Egypt, Iraq, North Africa, Asia, the Balkans and in Spain. This shows that the effect of Islam on the population was one of moral conviction, in contrast to occupation by western colonialists, finally compelled to leave lands whose peoples held only memories of affliction, sorrow, subjugation and oppression.

• Muslims ruled Spain (Andalusia) for about 800 years. During this period the Christians and Jews enjoyed freedom to practice their respective religions, and this is a documented historical fact.

• Christian and Jewish minorities have survived in the Muslim lands of the Middle East for centuries. Countries such as Egypt, Morocco, Palestine, Lebanon, Syria, and Jordan all have significant Christian and Jewish populations.

• Muslims ruled India for about a thousand years, and therefore had the power to force each and every non-Muslim of India to convert to Islam, but they did not, and thus more than 80% of the Indian population remains non-Muslim.

• Similarly, Islam spread rapidly on the East Coast of Africa. And likewise no Muslim army was ever dispatched to the East Coast of Africa.

• An article in Reader’s Digest ‘Almanac’, yearbook 1986, gives the statistics of the increase of the percentage of the major religions of the world in half a century from 1934 to 1984. This article also appeared in The Plain Truth magazine. At the top was Islam, which increased by 235%, while Christianity had increased by 47%. During this fifty-year period, there was no “Islamic conquest” yet Islam spread at an extraordinary rate.

• Today the fastest growing religion in America and Europe is Islam. The Muslims in these lands are a minority. The only sword they have in their possession is the sword of truth. It is this sword that is converting thousands to Islam.

• Islamic law protects the privileged status of minorities, and that is why non-Muslim places of worship have flourished all over the Islamic world. Islamic law also allows non-Muslim minorities to set up their own courts, which implement family laws drawn up by the minorities themselves. The life and property of all citizens in an Islamic state are considered sacred whether they are Muslims or not.

Conclusion
It is clear, therefore, that Islam did not spread by the sword. The “sword of Islam” did not convert all the non-Muslim minorities in Muslim countries. In India, where Muslims ruled for 800 years, they are still a minority. In the U.S.A., Islam is the fastest growing

Tolerance In Islam It is a striking fact of history that within three centuries, after Prophet Muhammad started preaching Islam in Mecca, Islam spread over the area of three continents; Asia, Africa and Europe. There are many reasons why people have been, from past to the present embracing Islam. Muhammad Asad, a Jewish convert to Islam, says:
“Islam appears to me like a perfect work of architecture. All its parts are harmoniously conceived to complement and support each other, nothing lacking, with the result of an absolute balance and solid composure. Everything in the teaching and postulates of Islam is in its proper place.” (Islam at the Crossroads, p.5)

In the race for the propagation of religion, Islam has always won over Christianity, in spite of the latter’s sophisticated and well-organized missionary activities. This has been the case in the course of fourteen centuries. As a result, most of the Christian missionaries started depicting Islam as a regressive, vulgar religion of savage people which was spread by the sword.

Yet, an unbiased Western Christian writer has written:

“…We may feel certain that if Western Christians, instead of the Saracens and the Turks, had won the dominion over Asia, there would be today not a trace left of the Greek Church, and that they would never have tolerated Muhammadanism as the 'infidels' have tolerated Christianity there. We (Christians) enjoy the fine advantage of being far better versed than others in the art of killing, bombarding and exterminating the Human Race." (Bayle P., Dictionary, 'the article Mahomed', 1850)

Among the reasons for the rapid and peaceful spread of Islam was the simplicity of its doctrine. Islam calls for believing in only One God, worthy of worship. It also repeatedly instructs man to use his powers of intelligence and observation. Within a few years after the dawn of Islam, great civilizations and universities were flourishing under its influence, for according to Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him), “seeking knowledge is an obligation for every Muslim man and woman”.

The zeal for understanding God’s creative power, as realized in the universe, led the followers of this religion to new ideas, new realms of knowledge and great advances in medicine, mathematics, physics, astronomy, geography, architecture, art, literature, and history.

We find that the spread of Islam was not limited to its miraculous early expansion outside of Arabia. During later centuries, the Turks embraced Islam peacefully, as did a large number of the people of the Indian subcontinent, as well as the people of Malaysia and Indonesia.

In Africa too, Islam spread during the past two centuries, while under the mighty power of European colonial rulers. Today Islam continues to grow, not only in Africa, but also in Europe and the Americas as well. Islam is the fastest growing religion now, with a following of about one and a half billion people.

Mr. Lamaan Ball, editor of Ask About Islam, adds:

Although in the early years of the expansion of the Islamic state much land came under the rule of the Muslims, conversion to Islam of its inhabitants took several generations. This is because conversion by force is explicitly forbidden in the Qur'an:

Let there be no compulsion in religion: Truth stands out clear from Error: whoever rejects evil and believes in God hath grasped the most trustworthy hand-hold, that never breaks. And God heareth and knoweth all things. (Surah 2 Verse 256)

In more recent times such as in the case of Indonesia, conversions to Islam happened in the absence of an Islamic state and where the rulers were Dutch Christians. Commentators and historians have to acknowledge the fact of Islam's peaceful spead even if they dislike it. A classic example of such a grudging acknowledgment is in the book "The Legacy of Islam" edited by Joseph Schacht with C.E. Bosworth (1974) p145:

"... the general picture of the spread of Islam so far as we know it. This is often said to resemble an oil stain: gradual yet effective. Many, too, have praised its peaceful nature. Again so far as we know, the acceptance of Islamic doctrine has been a gradual process, partly thanks to the practice of conversion prior to indoctrination"

The false allegations that Islam was spread by the sword is just part of unfounded propaganda. To which the best reply is perhaps the Qur'an itself. In particular this verse comes to mind:

Their intention is to extinguish God's Light (by blowing) with their mouths: But God will complete (the revelation of) His Light, even though the Unbelievers may detest (it). (Surah 61 Verse 8)

Mahatma Gandhi wrote in Young India – 1920:

‘I became more than ever convinced that it was not the sword that won a place in Islam in those days in the scheme of life. It was the rigid simplicity, the utter self-effacement of the Prophet, the scrupulous regard for his pledges, his intense devotion to his friends and followers, his intrepidity, his fearlessness, his absolute trust in God and his own mission. These and not the sword carried everything before them and surmounted every trouble.’
